Hello! Are you like me and don’t like surprises? Well, if your answer is yes, then I’m going to tell you about my birthday party earlier this year. It will teach you how to find out a surprise early. And, if you find out about one, please don’t let your friends know that you were ever here.
It all started on February 29, a few days before my birthday. I caught Luigi, Peach, and Donkey Kong keeping a secret from me. I didn’t know everything that they were saying, but I did hear them say, “Let’s have a surprise birthday party for Mario.”
I wanted to know more, but I didn’t want them to know that I found out. I went to Bowser, but I caught him accepting the invitation to the party. So, I knew he wouldn’t tell me. Then, I went to Wario and Yoshi. They are professional spies. So, I asked them to spy on my roommates, then report the information to me. And they said yes!
They went to our house, pretending they wanted to help set up the party. Then, after getting all the information, they told me about it. The next day, I caught Peach buying a piñata. I wanted to know what was inside. I asked Wario and Yoshi to spy on them. I heard that some chocolates were inside. I actually don’t like chocolate. So, after the party, I gave it to the guards in my subdivision, Kingdom Hills.
I started PAYING Wario and Yoshi for spying on my roommates. They were just doing a favor for me at first, but I was so grateful. But it had some side effects.
One morning, Peach asked me, “Why do you keep paying Wario and Yoshi?” I could’ve said that I was just generous. But, instead, I admitted defeat! I responded to her, “I’ve been asking them to spy on you guys planning the surprise party!”
While I rejoiced, my roommates were shocked! Luigi was so sad that he didn’t even attend the party. Peach didn’t even invite Wario and Yoshi. But Donkey Kong and Toad weren’t sad at all. They only kept it secret because it was a request from our roommates. When told about the news, they didn’t even show one sign of disappointment. They just said, “Oh, wow!”
Since my roommates were sad, the proposed greeting of, “SURPRISE! HAAAAAAAAAPY BIRTHDAAAAAAAA MARIOOOOOOOO,” was shortened to just a simple, “Happy birthday Mario.” They didn’t even sound very excited while saying it.
So now you know how to find out any secret from anyone. Get an assistant or spy and ask them to report about it. Bye guys!
