If you’re like me, you want faster travel to Tagaytay, Cavite. You know Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road regularly has traffic and want to bypass it via some expressway. Well, there is an alternate route from Santa Rosa to Tagaytay via South Boulevard, Alcalde, Cardiac Hill, Tibig Road, and Aguinaldo Highway. But my mom said it’s slower than Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road.
However, there’s another route involving the CALAX (Cavite-Laguna Expressway) Silang East interchange with Tibig Road and Aguinaldo Highway. Sometimes it’s faster, sometimes it’s slower.
Nowadays, I think it depends on the traffic on Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road and Aguinaldo Highway. But soon, CALAX Silang East will have another shortcut to Tagaytay. The Cavite-Tagaytay-Batangas Expressway (CTBEX) will have an exit in Tagaytay, as the name suggests. With the link to CALAX in the Silang East interchange, CTBEX will be the top route to Tagaytay.
But your location matters. If you live in Carmona, GMA, or Dasmariñas, Aguinaldo Highway should be the fastest route. If you live in the southern part of Silang, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay should be the fastest route.
